Canadian School of Warsaw and Preschool have opened their 10th school year, with 160 children on board.
There have been many accomplishments along the way. Every year we succeed in organizing European Languages Day, Halloween, Christmas Show, Earth Day, Open House, Garage Sale, Summer Show, as well as Canada Day Picnic (with the Canadian Embassy), to mention a few. We are no stranger to charity work – this year’s initiatives included: providing food and supplies for the animal shelters and caritas, as well as taking part in Charity Bazaar.
The IBO PYP accreditation process kicked into high gear as our teachers received full IBO training and new programmes of inquiry were created. PYP allows children to broaden their knowledge of both International and Polish curriculum. As we go forward, our students can count on their teachers to provide them with challenges and inspirations as they always have.
Apart from Bełska 7 we have a beautiful new location for our preschool at Kalatówki 24 and we are already looking forward to adding Middle and High School to our campus in September 2010.
